    Robert

Robert the Doll sits in front of you, a reportedly haunted doll exhibited at the East Martello Museum in Key West. He was once owned by painter, author, and Key West resident Robert Eugene Otto.

  • Southernmost Point Buoy in Key West, Florida
    Southernmost point buoy

An anchored concrete buoy in front of you, the Southernmost Point Buoy claims to mark the southernmost point in the continental United States—even though it is neither the true southernmost point of the continental U.S. nor of Key West. The city established it as a tourist attraction on September 10, 1983, replacing a small sign that once marked the spot.

  • The Harry S. Truman Little White House, Key West, Florida, U.S. This is an image of a place or building that is listed on the National Register of Historic Places in the United States of America. Its reference number is 74000652 (Wikidata).
Harry S. Truman Little White House

In front of you is the Harry S. Truman Little White House in Key West, Florida, in the Truman Annex neighborhood of Old Town. This wooden duplex was designed in 1889 by local architects Scott, McDermott & Higgs and built in 1890 as the first officer's quarters on the U.S. naval station, with Quarters A for the base commandant and Quarters B for the paymaster.

  • Aerial view of Fort Zachary Taylor State Park. Original Caption: Fort Zachary Taylor State Park in Key West, FL, is edged by turquoise blue waters, features the half-hexagon shaped, Civil War-era Fort Taylor surrounded by a moat, and is separated from a sandy beach and snorkeling by a wooded picnic area.
Fort Zachary Taylor Historic State Park

Notice Fort Zachary Taylor Historic State Park ahead of you, also known as Fort Taylor, a Florida State Park and National Historic Landmark centered on a Civil War–era fort near the southern tip of Key West. Construction of this fort began in 1845 as part of a mid-19th century plan to defend the southeast coast of the United States after the War of 1812.

  • USCGC Ingham (WHEC-35), A photo of the cutter Ingham. The Ingham, circa 1965. She still carries a 5"-38 caliber main battery and ASW depth charge projectors but her 40 mm anti-aircraft cannons have been removed.
    USCGC Ingham

USCGC Ingham is one of only two preserved Treasury-class United States Coast Guard Cutters. Originally Samuel D. Ingham, she was the fourth cutter to bear the name of Treasury Secretary Samuel D. Ingham and would become the most decorated vessel in the Coast Guard fleet, the only cutter ever awarded two Presidential Unit Citations.
