Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

  • Terminal Tower from the Cuyahoga River
    Terminal Tower

Feel the scale of this 52-story landmark rising from Public Square in Cleveland's downtown core, completed in 1927. Built during the skyscraper boom of the 1920s and 1930s and completed in 1927, it was the second-tallest building in the world when finished.

  • Cleveland Arcade
    Cleveland Arcade

Two nine‑story buildings joined by a five‑story covered passage: that is the Arcade, the Victorian‑era spectacle in front of you in downtown Cleveland. Built in 1890 and opened on Memorial Day, May 30, 1890, it was one of the earliest indoor shopping arcades in the United States.

  • USS Cod
    USS Cod

USS Cod, hull number SS/AGSS/IXSS-224, is the Gato-class submarine in front of you, the only vessel in the United States Navy ever named for the cod, that important and very popular food fish of the North Atlantic and North Pacific oceans. She was launched here in the story of her life on 21 March 1943 and commissioned a few months later on 21 June 1943.

  • July 8, 2018
